Mike Chiropolos
Biography
Mike was born in Colorado and raised in the Chicago suburbs. He’s worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali and Chad, organizer, wilderness ranger, attorney (environmental, public lands, oil and gas, climate, land use and Indian law), and advocate. He’s helped protect hundreds of thousands of acres of public land from fossil fuel development across the West and to re-write Colorado oil and gas law to prioritize public health and the environment over extraction.
Interests include the Beautiful Game, trail running, backcountry exploration, cross country skiing, literature, historical fiction, beer, four-leggeds, listening, and stuff that makes sense.
